After you apply for an open role with Core‑Mark and receive a job offer, you can enroll in our Driver Training Program where you can earn your CDL. Not only will Core‑Mark pay for your tuition at an approved school, but you will also earn your hourly rate while you’re in class and receive on the job training.

Program Benefits:
- Core‑Mark will fully pay for the cost of getting your CDL A license
- Work in a paid, full-time non-driving role while completing your education
- Core‑Mark will pay your hourly rate while you’re in class
- Start driving with Core‑Mark between 90-120 days
Eligibility Requirements:
You’ll be primed for success with these qualifications:
- Agree to Continuation of Employment (24 months)
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have a clean driving record
- Are able to push 50lbs and lift 75lbs
- Are able to move a dolly up and down a ramp loaded with up to 260lbs
- Once employment begins, you must maintain in good standing with Core‑Mark
- Clean criminal history and ability to pass DOT screenings

Chris
Chris started his Core‑Mark career as a Warehouse Worker in 2016. After graduating from Core‑Mark’s Driver Training Program and earning his CDL, he became a Traditional Route Driver.
Now, he also serves as a Driver Trainer. Thanks to his experience as a Warehouse Worker and a Driver and his commitment to Core‑Mark’s values, he has successfully trained several students throughout the program and plans to help even more.
Jeremia
In 2013, Jeremia joined the Core‑Mark family as a Warehouse Worker. He worked nights in the Stack/Load Department. With a desire to grow, Jeremia applied for Core‑Mark’s Driver Training Program. Today, Jeremia is Route Driver at Core‑Mark Iowa.
Jeremia’s favorite parts of his new career path include interacting with customers and meeting their needs, having added responsibilities out on the road, seeing new places, and making more money.
