As the Vice President of Human Resources for Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, you will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of the human resources function. You will define and execute a people strategy that enables business performance, strengthens organizational capability, and supports scalable growth for our $25 billion segment, consisting of 11,000 associates across 40+ locations.
Reporting directly to the Core-Mark CEO, with a dotted line to the PFG CHRO, you will drive segment priorities including talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, and culture. You will ensure alignment between business objectives and HR programs, enabling a high-performance culture while maintaining compliance across a complex regulatory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of Core-Mark's HR strategy in alignment with business priorities and growth objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on organizational design, talent planning, and workforce strategy.
- Oversee all core HR functions including talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HR operations.
- Drive organizational effectiveness through thoughtful structure, succession planning, and leadership capability building across all levels of the organization.
- Lead culture and engagement initiatives that reinforce Core-Mark's values and drive a high-performance, accountable work environment.
- Oversee HR support for distributed operating companies, ensuring consistent execution of HR programs while enabling local business needs.
- Partner with Finance and executive leadership on workforce planning, headcount management, and compensation strategy to align with financial objectives.
- Drive HR transformation initiatives, including process standardization, technology optimization, and data-driven decision making.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing HR organization, including talent development, succession planning, and capability building within the HR function.
- Perform other duties as required.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or related field• Minimum of 12 years HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility including support for senior level business leaders in complex environment
• Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic HR business partner to executive leadership
• Strong expertise across multiple HR disciplines, including talent, organizational design, employee relations, and compliance
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in distribution, retail, supply chain, or similarly operationally intensive industries• Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed workforces
• Track record of leading HR transformation and building scalable HR infrastructure
• Strong business and financial acumen with experience aligning workforce strategy to P&L objectives
