Job Description:

Responsible for administrative support duties for the SVP of Sales and Marketing, and their team. Performs a wide variety of specialized activities, including running projects. Utilizes strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills to maximize productivity and effectiveness of the assigned sales organization. Collaborates across the business with employees of various levels from many departments. Prioritizes tasks and workload in a fast-paced environment. Creatively problem solves and employs research to find solutions.

Lead special projects initiated by the SVP of Sales and Marketing, ranging from board presentations to partnering on business strategy development. This includes scope, planning, and execution of multiple projects, often with quick turn around and minimal assistance.

Identifies opportunities for sales process improvement by fostering close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, sales management, and sales and support personnel.

Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.

Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives, and builds peer support and strong internal company relationships with other key management personnel. Works with Accounting, Finance, Human Resources and IT to provide assistance with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to arbitrate or clarify the application of sales compensation program policies and procedures.

Coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the company as needed.

Leads sales support team including all specialists and marketing team members. Deploys specialists in support of local sales growth strategies.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience: 1 3 Years of sales or business, or related area within foodservice industry.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing,

Preferred Experience: 3 5+ Years of experience in sales/marketing, business, or related area within foodservice industry.
