Position Summary:
The Bakery Mixeris responsible for operating and maintaining line equipment, monitor the process, and assist production line with the preparation and packaging products ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and quality standards are met and maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company

Position Responsibilities:
  • Accurately weigh and measure ingredients based on recipes or production instructions
  • Operate commercial mixers to blend ingredients
  • Monitor mixing times and speeds for proper consistency
  • Works on Production line,according to procedures.May switchpositions every two (2) hoursand may be required towork other positions within theProduction facility.
  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person.Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.
  • Maintain and follow GMP, ServSafe, HACCP, SQF, OSHA and OLM Food Solutions standards in the work environment.
  • Ability to learn, participate and become knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing practices, 6 Sigma and Root Cause Analysis.
  • General labor.
  • Stack product on pallet.
  • Ability to run the inserter.
  • May start up and shut down operations for line.
  • Set up and change over metal detection & box taper
  • Machine Operator simple/complex.
  • Ability to utilize the box and bag maker.
  • Ability to accurately operate the cheese sealer.
  • Ability to operate pallet stacker, stacking 25-pound cases onto a pallet.
