Job Description:

We are looking for an Operations Accountant to join our Finance Operations team! The Operations Accountant will report to the Accounting Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as primary point of contact for contract management, including both supplier and customer contracts
  • Manage and enforce varying degrees of internal and SOX controls
  • Oversee and execute various balance sheet accounts and corresponding business activity
  • Prepare data flow process and develop subsequent analytics for process optimization and informing leadership
  • Operate accounting software to record, store, and analyze journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Prepare and issue rebate payments or deductions
  • Monitor, report, and clear balance sheet aging for both payables and receivables
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0-2 years of experience in business analysis or financial operations analysis
- Intermediate in Excel, to include pivot tables and v lookups

Preferred qualifications:

- Food/beverage distribution/closely related industry experience
- Experience with Power BI and BlackLine
- Knowledge of invoicing, payables, and general ledger is preferred
