Job Description:
Serves daily as the first point of contact for a team of Specialists, Inside Sales and will mentor and guide each rep to help them grow in their role. Using goals directed by the Regional, Market Segment and Mgr, Sales Operations, helps orchestrate, implement and report on sales campaigns, prioritize daily activities, field questions and ensure activity bottlenecks and service challenges are resolved. As both a coach and player, responsible for sales and profitability growth of existing account relationships as well as growing new customer counts in an assigned territory and market segment. Will proactively consult a designated base of accounts to optimize order frequency and product selection, develop relationships with key brands' properties, and help customers with their orders, leveraging order guides and pricing tools. Monitor and service multiple tiers of accounts by leveraging CRM system and sales and service tools and resources to ensure comprehensive account coverage. Work as a team member with Field AEs, OpCo and CORE Service team members, and as a part of a defined Market Segment support team, to complete a variety of responsibilities at any time to best serve customers, colleagues and the company.Serves as the first point of contact for a team of Specialists, Inside Sales to mentor and guide each associate. Qualify and assign leads to Inside and Field Sales team members.
Aligned with the Regional, Market Segment and Departmental goals, will help orchestrate, implement and report on sales campaigns, prioritize daily activities, field questions and ensure activity bottlenecks and service challenges are resolved.
Relate closely to the Mgr, Sales Operations to provide updates, ideas, and feedback to help the team surpass sales and service expectations.
Will participate in onboarding and ongoing training, enablement, and inspirational motivations to accomplish target objectives.
Grow new customer counts by prospecting new and regained sales opportunities as well as referrals. Present products and promotions to new and existing customers. Oversee new account set-ups to completion. Ensure account onsite hardware delivery and resets and product order processes run smoothly.
Leverage CRM tools and resources to manage daily activities and sales forecasting. Reach and exceed existing account and new customer sales and growth goals.
Build relationships with key brands customers to uphold national brand service commitments. Qualify and assign leads to Inside and Field Sales team members. Works with OpCo and Core service team members to resolve customer service case
Be a SME of Vistar benefits statements, competitive positioning, sales process, leveraging selling tools and resources, and working alongside regional team members to best serve customers.

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.Required Experience: 2-4 Years experience in sales, marketing or related area.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, strong customer service skills, able to adjust to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications:
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Marketing, Business or related area.Preferred Experience: 4-6 years' experience in sales, marketing, or related area within foodservice industry.
Preferred Professional Certification: Valid Driver's License Required.
