Position Purpose:Responsible for supporting the Sales Department by providing consultative services to customers related to equipment and supplies. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
- Attain targeted sales as determined by business goals and within budgetary guidelines. Identify opportunities for increased sales. Monitor competition.
- Develop and assist with equipment/supplies sales and support for customers. Support other sales representatives with sales activities. May perform targeted ride-withs for one-on-one training to impact sales of equipment and supplies.
- Manage all aspects of the equipment and supplies services.
- Solve equipment and supply issues and deal with a variety of situations where minimal standardization exists.
- Develop interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust, both internally and externally. Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers/vendors and coworkers
- Perform accurate data entry and report preparation in a timely manner.
- Attend sales meetings and other meetings. Attend, participate and coordinate company sponsored industry trade shows and industry meetings. Plan and execute equipment/supplies displays and presence at food shows and other customer events.
- Performs other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience Required• Associate's Degree/2-Year Technical Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field
• 0 - 6 months related experience
Preferred qualifications:
• Foodservice sales experience with equipment and supply knowledge• 6 months - 1 year
