Position Summary:
We are seeking high-caliber senior leaders from our industry and related sectors who are ready to make an immediate impact while expanding their leadership scope across a complex distribution business. Bringing deep operational, sales, and business leadership experience gained outside the organization, you will initially partner with our top-performing OpCo Presidents and regional executives to immerse yourself in our business, culture, and processes, while playing a critical role in driving current operational excellence and business results.

This opportunity is designed for highly mobile leaders who are energized by growth and advancement. Through broad exposure to our operations, executive leadership team, and enterprise-wide opportunities, you will develop the knowledge, relationships, and experience needed to pursue expanded leadership roles across Core-Mark and the broader Performance Food Group family of companies.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the OpCo President and regional leadership team to drive business performance across operations, sales, supply chain, transportation, safety, and talent management.

  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of Core-Mark's business model, culture, operating philosophy, and customer value proposition.

  • Lead day-to-day distribution center operations, ensuring excellence in service, safety, productivity, quality, and financial performance.

  • Support the execution of strategic and operational initiatives that improve profitability, customer satisfaction, and team member engagement.

  • Analyze business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that drive sustainable results.

  • Participate in structured development experiences, executive mentorship, and cross-functional exposure designed to broaden enterprise leadership capabilities.

  • Drive a performance-based culture that balances operational results with leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and long-term organizational health.

  • Demonstrate the agility and mobility to assume increasing levels of responsibility and leadership across Core-Mark and the broader Performance Food Group organization.

  • Serve as a key member of the OpCo leadership team, helping shape both short-term execution and long-term business strategy.

Qualifications:

12+ years of progressive experience, including recent service as a President, General Manager, or equivalent leader accountable for full P&L performance within a warehouse distribution operation.
Results driven, entrepreneurial, and collaborative professional who thrives in a large corporation but with a non-conforming culture
Demonstrated track record of setting annual business plan objectives, setting and achieving operational excellence performance standards, especially in a tight margin environment.
Must be willing to relocate.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is preferred.
