Job Description:

Position Purpose

The Director, National Accounts is a senior-level position responsible for managing and growing relationships
with key national clients. Serves as the National Account leader for Vistar's Hospitality and Gaming segments. Responsible for developing relationships with customers and establishing long term segment growth opportunities, negotiating new contracts and contract renewals and ensuring Vistar operating companies (OpCos) follow contract requirements.

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to: client relationship management, sales and
revenue growth, team leadership and development, strategic planning and execution, reporting and analysis.

Job Functions

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for national clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are
resolved promptly.
• Drive significant growth through strategic sales initiatives.
• Achieve national accounts sales targets and quotas.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and potential national accounts.
• Lead and mentor a team of National Account Managers.
• Provide training and guidance to the sales team on best practices and sales techniques.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Develop and implement national account strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure
alignment and support for national accounts.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, revenue performance, and account status.
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
• Complies with all policies and standards
  • Performs others duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements:
Approximately 50%

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, or related field Required

• 7 - 10 Years industry related experience

• 1 - 3 Years Supervisory or management experience

• Extensive experience in sales and account management, particularly with national or global accounts.

• Proven track record of managing and growing large, complex accounts.

• Experience in leading and developing high-performance sales teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency MS Suite, to include PowerBI, Excel and PowerPoint. As well as CRM tools, specifically SalesForce.

• Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.

Preferred qualifications:

• Extensive sales experience and existing relationships within Hospitality and Gaming Industries.
