Position Purpose:
Responsible for building and managing customer relationships and driving sales strategies. Work closely with leadership, operations, procurement and supply chain partners to shape programs that deliver results collaboratively across multiple regions , unified by a focus on driving customer success.

Major Functional Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the program or national account and Cheney Brothers.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain team to review performance metrics, monitor inventory levels, manage LTOs, and oversee accrual reporting.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by managing orders, inventory, accounts receivable, and communicating restaurant-level changes. Address and resolve issues such as missed orders, cutoffs, inventory fluctuations, and payment concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to handle expired products, verify inventory counts, address quality concerns, and resolve operational damages or warehouse shortages.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch, Routing, and Operations leadership to resolve delivery challenges, manage time windows, schedule off-day deliveries, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Act as a liaison with the Credit department to assist with new account setups and manage accounts receivable as needed.
  • Work closely with Purchasing to maintain appropriate inventory levels, communicate changes in product movement, manage LTO items, item transfers, out-of-stock situations, order minimums, and vendor delivery schedules.
  • Partner with the Pricing team to monitor and communicate pricing updates and changes, including freight rates, bill backs, and allowances, and assist in resolving any disputes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Education
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Work Experience:
6 Months - 1 Year Some sales / marketing and / or restaurant experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree - Business management, sales/marketing or related area.

Preferred Work Experience:
1 - 3 Years Some sales / marketing and / or restaurant experience.
