Job Description:
Position Summary: Manages, maintains, and grows, a territory of Healthcare Accounts by building relationships through regular customer interaction and consulting services. Responsible for providing consultative services to customers including the dispersing of nutritional and healthcare related information. Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensure customers' and vendors' questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Duties:
- Generate and assist with product sales by providing customers with value-added services, exceptional customer service, and attention to customer profitability.
- Must know or be willing to learn about the healthcare industry, product information, industry trends, technology, and other consultative services
- Consults with healthcare and other institutional accounts on nutritional and dietary concerns.
- Determines healthcare customer needs and performs job duties to effectively meet those needs.
- Supports the healthcare sales department with sales activities and assists with training of the sales force on healthcare-related topics.
- Represent PFG at trade association functions
- Develop and assist with menu support
- Must be able to provide a consultative service to customers and develop long-term business relationships.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent6-12 months sales/marketing experience.
Valid Driver's License
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or related area5 years of foodservice sales experience.
