Position Summary:

This position requires a doubles endorsement.  This is a night position, experience preferred, but not required.  Drive from Phoenix to Las Vegas and back to Phoenix.

Position Responsibilities:

• Drive Tractor, maneuvering into position to attach trailer and handle lines to secure.
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip
• Inspect trailer to ensure product is secure for undamaged transport of product
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
• Ensure the load bars are engaged and pallets are secure inside trailer
• Other duties may be assigned.

Skills & Experiences:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL AZ License
• Clear DMV record
• Clear DOT Drug and Alcohol test and Physical Exam
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Be able to use a Tractor-Trailer, Double and Triples experience
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude

Physical Demands &Working Conditions:

• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position; up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 25 lbs  frequently, and up to 60 lbs occasionally..
• Physical ability to handle objects, tools and/or controls
• Physical ability to stand and walk frequently, and be able to drive for a significant period of time.
• Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, or crawl.
• May require the ability to operate and/or be certified on various powered equipment
• The warehouse environment will have exposure to a variety of noise and potential extremes in temperature
