Job Description

Supervises and manages personnel and functions related to customer support. Creates, enhances and distributes various sales reports for Senior Executives, Field Sales Management, Finance Department and Corporate Chain Customers. Act as liaison between Corporate IT and anything related to system changes or sales reporting affecting the Corporate Sales department. Manage SharePoint web site for communications to Sales field, OPCO personnel and oversee workflow for customer reporting. Assist lead OPCO personnel in Regional Chain Concepts for Supplier contracts and reporting. Participates in testing of new and updated systems, programs, forms and procedures. Supports sales initiatives that enhance company profitability. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Personnel management - including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.

Manage complex projects, sales reports and schedules while providing support to Account Managers and Account Executives.

Manage Power BI Report Builder application creating report templates and Power Query statements.

Manager Power BI Desktop application writing DAX statements along with creating sales dashboard visuals.

Manage SharePoint site for both National and Regional Chain concepts. Provide avenue for loading supplier contracts and required reporting to meet MDA contractual obligations. Maintain a secure location for MDA contracts limiting access to Senior Management and OPCO Presidents.

Utilize MS TEAMS messaging app to enhance channel usage for Account Managers.

Fosters an environment of continuous process improvement. Identifies improvement opportunities with systems, people and workflow processes to increase output and engagement between team members.

Promotes time management and strategic execution of Ad Hoc deliverables to increase effectiveness, efficiency and productivity.

Supervise all aspects of sales support staff to ensure tasks are performed accurately and expediently.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience:

1-3 years of previous customer service, retail and/or cash and carry, sales or warehouse experience. Team lead or supervisory experience.

This is not a remote role and is based in Richmond, VA

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's in Business Management or related field:

3 -5 years of previous customer service, retail and/or cash and carry, sales or warehouse experience within the foodservice industry. Previous supervisory experience. Extensive knowledge using MS Office 365 apps with high concentration in Excel and Power BI. Familiarity with AS400 system.
