POSITION SUMMARY:

Direct & develop the Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group to fulfill the department goals which include providing meaningful & insightful analyses in the areas of customer profitability / pricing, M & A, valuation & impairment, SEC, IR, Accounting and Marketing group support, weekly variance reporting, periodic forecasting and annual business plan requirements. In addition, key responsibilities will include staff development, training field & corporate personnel, ensuring continual process improvements, and extensive interaction with senior management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and direct the FP&A department personnel
  • Oversight of the preparation and presentation of customer and other profitability and pricing analyses, including extensive interaction with senior managers
  • M&A analyses oversight and involvement including due diligence, modeling and asset valuations
  • Ongoing valuation & impairment analyses, including negotiation, coordination & oversight of valuation experts
  • Primary analytical support for external public filings and investor relations communication, including consult on MD&A, scripts and presentation decks
  • Ultimately responsible for key weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual financial analyses and selected management reporting, including significant participation in variance analyses / trending
  • Coordinate and oversee the Company’s annual and long term business plan and forecasts, including consolidation, review, and presentation. Capable of presenting the annual business plan to Senior Management and the Board of Directors
  • Direct the FP&A department to improve processes and technology, including maintenance and enhancement of Company models
  • Oversight of department responses to non-routine and ad-hock requests for financial analyses
  • Team player and significant interaction / support of other finance groups including Accounting, Compliance, Treasury, Internal Audit, Tax, etc.

Experience:

  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in a leadership role, within an FP&A environment or in a Corporate Controller role
  • Medium to large-size company experience, preferably with a publicly-held company

Minimum educational level:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred

Qualifications
