About this opening:

Warehouse Order Selectors are needed for this entry level warehouse position. The start rate is $11.00 per hour, plus a throughput incentive pay potential up to $250 a month! A great attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are a must! General duties are selection of convenience store products into totes, stocking, cleaning, etc., 2nd shift - 2 p.m. until all customer orders are filled, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, can be up to a 14 hour shift, with Tuesday, Friday and Saturday as your off/unscheduled days. Must be able to work the entire shift plus any required overtime. This is a high speed production position - speed of order selection and accuracy is required. There will be weekly order selection targets that must be met as an expectation of this job. Perfect attendance is required during the 90 day probationary period.


  • Selects product in accordance with printed customer orders.
  • Selects will-call and other special orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
  • Consolidates merchandise into product containers as necessary – "Totes"
  • Clears conveyor lines and surrounding areas of all extraneous inventory. Directs such stock to storage area or dry room as applicable.
  • Restocks order selection zones as necessary.
  • Restocks selecting zones and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection.
  • Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine and/or special demands.
  • Maintains clean, orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations and cleans work area at end of shift.
  • Performs all tasks in compliance with Core-Mark safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Able to work in a team environment, working in alternate positions as needed to meet team goals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work alternating shift times with uncertain end times.
  • Ability to work in a high speed, production-based environment, able to meet company order selection quality and speed standards using hand held computers and pick to light systems following all safety protocols.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, ability to read, write and understand instructions and computerized reports and labels in English; recognize similarities and difference between words and between series of numbers. Must be able to read product codes and information quickly and accurately. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide 3-4 digit numbers.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Must be able to recognize malfunctions in equipment and notify Manager. Must be able to use problem solving skills. Able to adapt quickly to changes in processes/procedures.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.


  • Stand 90% of the shift (up to 14 hours or more per day); use hands and fingers to handle product, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms often above shoulder level, and below knee level, operate computerized devices.
  • Required to walk and stand for eight hours or more per day.
  • Occasionally required to squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
  • Heavy labor position - must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
