HOURS

Sunday to Thursday Starting at 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm (Hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the business).

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for warehouse operations to include stocking, picking, packing and general housekeeping within the warehouse in a lead role.

The leader will be responsible to ensure staffs are palletizing all orders correctly to avoid damage and order accuracy. This includes but not limited to the following: no chemicals on top of other products, heavy items on the base of pallets, pallets secured properly with wrap and all items separated on the pallet to the best of our ability to ensure accuracy of delivery.

Assist with Warehouse supervisor in coordinating and training warehouse staff.

Ensure functioning of warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse supervisor.

Verify the accuracy and quality of all orders.

Retrieves product in accordance with printed customer orders

Stacks orders securely on skids according to sequence of delivery route

Applies shipping ID labels to cases

Responsible for the accuracy of the pick

Maintains a clean, orderly work area

Performs all tasks in compliance with Core-Mark safety policy and OHSA requirements

Perform other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Language: Ability to read, print, and speak simple sentences. Recognize similarities and difference between words and between series of numbers.

Able to read product codes and information quickly and accurately.

Mathematical: Ability to add/subtract 2 digit numbers and multiply/divide 10’s and 100’s.

Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions and to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Must be able to recognize malfunctions in equipment and notify supervisors.

Will be required to operate powered pallet mover and Raymond Reach is an asset

EDUCATION REQUIRED

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or one to three months of related experience with training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Pallet Jack (Walkie), Reach/Forklift- Counter Balance
