We have an exciting opportunity at our Core-Mark Milton, ON Division!

Core-Mark International Inc. is one of the largest and most valued marketers of fresh and broad-line supply solutions offering a full range of products, marketing programs and technology solutions to over 24,000 traditional convenience stores, drug, grocery and specialty stores selling consumer packaged goods across North America.

We are hiring for a permanent full time Customer Service Representative reporting to the Customer Service Manager. We are located at 8030 Esquesing Line, Unit #1 Milton, ON L9T 6W3. The successful candidate will process customer orders via phone, fax, email and electronic orders (EDI) and web-ordering to enter and investigate customer claims for shortages, overages, mis-picks and requests for return.

SCHEDULE/ SHIFT

Must be willing to work Monday to Friday OR Sunday to Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (hours may be adjusted to meet business requirements)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Strong Customer Service skills, including demonstrated ability to handle challenging customers and repetitive tasks within a call centre environment.

Previous experience with processing and creating reporting through internal systems

Experience within an inside sales and order desk environment an asset

Experience in distribution an asset

Proficiency in MS Office, must be able to use advanced Excel, experience with pivot tables and vlook-up an advantage

AS400 experience or similar database system (SAP) an asset

Ability to communicate in a professional manner

Ability to function well under pressure

Attention to detail and problem solving abilities

Organizational abilities with strong sense of urgency and follow up skills

High School Diploma/ GED
