We are hiring for a full time permanent Assistant Transportation Manager. We are located at8030 Esquesing Line, Unit 1, Milton, ON L9T 6W3.Responsibilities includeensuring the transportation team is compliant with all federal, provincial and local vehicle operating and safety codes and regulations, truck routing operations and people management.
Monday – Friday 08:00 –17:00(Hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the business).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree or diploma in business, management or logistics
Knowledge of business related statistics, profit and loss statements
Experienced completing transportation related cost benefit and root cause analysis
Experience with fresh/perishable products and tri-temperature trailers
Minimum of five years in transportation/ logistics industry in a supervisory capacity
Knowledge of Route Delivery Operations and hours of service regulations
Strong/Intermediate abilities with MS Office Applications
Familiarity with health and safety legislation
