Primary Responsibilities:

This position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Process and enter all customer orders, credits and mispicks. Generate related paperwork and necessary information required for processing customer issues.
  • Coordinate special shipping requests with the warehouse, transportation and data processing departments, expediting orders as deemed necessary.
  • Interacting with sales force and merchandisers for requests made in order to insure that customer service standards are being met.
  • Respond promptly to special needs expressed by Purchasing and Marketing departments.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries and concerns related to order processing, invoice adjustments, shipments, inventory counts, etc. in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Report customer feedback through action reports, voice mail message to sales and inter-office interaction with management including any signs of customer dissatisfaction.
  • Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain corresponding files.
  • Maintain current and accurate procedure guidelines manual, which details the processing requirements for each account.
  • Effective correspondence with customers as required
  • Prepare reports concerning customer service activities as required by supervisors.
  • Provide research works for complicated customer’s requests
  • Perform these and other tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35-pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
