Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Systems Group within the Finance department at our new Corporate Headquarters in Westlake, Texas, we are seeking a RPA Finance Support Analyst that will have responsibility for providing support and direction for business process improvement and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives within a version-controlled Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) governance structure. This role will play an integral part in establishing our RPA Center of Excellence (COE), and supporting the overall success of the company’s multi-year Finance Transformation Program.

You will be responsible for supporting multiple transformation and optimization initiatives across global Accounting and Finance functions (OTC, P2P, R2R and FP&A). Your ability to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is critical as the role is expected to comprehend and transform business processes into automated solutions within aggressive timeframes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Problem solves issues that arise in day to day running of Robotic Process Automations utilizing UiPath software and provides timely responses and solutions to individual business units affected by automations
  • Communicates with internal business customers, including Finance and Accounting, to understand business requirements and achieve business-related automation goals
  • Researches and understands Core-Mark business landscape with regard to automation solutions and business requirements
  • Implements bot control/management using control room functions
  • Designs, documents, configures, tests, and deploys automation solutions in accordance with best practice design principles and conventions
  • Complies with and helps establish RPA design, policies, and procedures
  • Works with internal and external auditors to ensure proper controls and documentation exist for RPA projects
  • Creates and documents test procedures and scenarios for pre-UAT phases, as required
  • Creates and maintains solution documentation and a documentation repository
  • Analyzes, understands and documents business processes in detail, as required
  • Participates in process redesign and review workshops with Process Owners, as required
  • Supports the creation of Process Definition Documents (PDDs), as required
  • Communicates software related issues and suggested improvements
  • Continually improves skills in automation products by proactively seeking out and participating in users groups, webinars, automation trainings and certifications
  • Mentors colleagues through training and providing advice and guidance on best practice and development techniques

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business & Information Systems Engineering, or related field
  • A genuine interest and drive to learn new technology, and blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of robotic process automation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation and present technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and willingness to adhere to formal change control procedures
  • A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% at times, as project deliverables and timelines require

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some exposure to RPA, either from a development or internal business customer standpoint
  • Demonstrated development skills, preferably in .NET, VBA, or SQL
  • Experience working in a Global Shared Services Operating Model; F&A preferred
